This weekend, don’t forget to carve out some time in your day to spend with your mom. It’s Mother’s Day, and she deserves to be honored and celebrated. Just because you’re an adult now, doesn’t mean that her life is stress free. Take the opportunity to relax, de-stress, and just pamper each other.
- This is where having a steam shower comes in really handy. Treat your mom to a steam shower experience that includes a chromatherapy and an aromatherapy treatment.
- Pull that jar of mayonnaise out of the fridge. You’re going to use it for something entirely different. Make sure that the mayonnaise is as natural, chemical-free, and organic as possible. Set it out on the counter to warm up to room temperature. When it’s ready, spread it all over your face (keep it away from your eyes). Leave it on for about 20 minutes. Mayonnaise is fabulous as a skin moisturizer.
- Teabags have long been known as effective refreshers for tired eyes. Soak 4 chamomile tea bags in warm water. Press out the excess water. Place over your eyes, and let them soak for about 20 minutes.
After the facial, make your mom a fresh cup of tea or coffee and serve her some delectable treat. If you can, consider hiring a masseuse to come to your home and treat the two of you to a relaxing massage.
End the day with a gift. Give your mom a pretty basket filled with natural soap, skin cream, and pure cotton washcloths.
